I was able to activate and use it that way. Nice that WIndows 11 is immediately on it and that Office 365 is pre-installed. After that, Windows 11 was completely up-to-date and I could get started. Downloading and installing the latest updates took a while. I now realize that I don't even know if there was anything of a description in the box. I was able to turn on and install the laptop right away. Efficiently packed without unnecessary filler material. The box is compact and there was no unnecessary clutter in the box.
